>>> Większa okładka A <<< Renata Tebaldi, who in the 1950s and ’60s shared with Maria Callas the favours of opera lovers, has already been featured in several IDIS releases of complete operas. The present anthology now proposes some wonderful and precious live recordings made between 1950 and 1956, where the Italian soprano, at the apex of her career, sings passages from the great repertoire and from the roles that made her famous all over the world. Noteworthy, in addition to well-known pieces, is the rare Aria of the letter from Tchaikovsky’s Evgenij Onegin, sung with extraordinary sensitivity and passion.
