Hot on the heels of her critically acclaimed debut album, "The Lipstick Conspiracies" is proof indeed that Thea is an extremely talented 20 year old. Thea has written all the songs and music for this album on which she also plays guitar. "The Lipstick Conspiracies" bristles with well observed barbs, endearing self deprecation and well constructed songs. An abundance of spirit and insight far beyond her years make this a follow-up album packed with potential. Her bewitching voice is reminiscent of Tracy Chapman, Patti Smith and Ani DiFranco and her music has been likened to that of Joni Mitchell. Thea grew up in a musical milieu, sang from an early age and had several short stories published as a child and young teenager. Her musical career began in earnest, however, when at the age of 16 she secured a work experience placement at Fairport Convention's studio. It was here that she met two producers who were so impressed with her talent that they offered their experience to record a demo.
