Stevie Wonder Fullfillingness' First Finale on Gold CD From Audio Fidelity

Mastered by Legendary Engineer Steve Hoffman

Fulfillingness' First Finale is the album released between Innervisions and Songs In the Key of Life during Stevie Wonder's highly acclaimed 1971-76 multi-platinum, multi-Grammy 'classic period.' The album is poignant, scathing and soulful, personal and political, buoyant with gospel overtones, filled with Motown horns and funky organ, tragic with mature discontent. The mood and tone of his songs here are perfectly represented in the vocals as Wonder alternates from the smoothest, silkiest vocals to straight out rock.

The orchestration and production is beyond traditional pop and Stevie plays almost all of the instruments on the album including some of his best ever harmonica playing. He also invited a few musicians to collaborate, most of which were background vocals from the Jackson 5, The Persuasions, Paul Anka, Deniece Williams and Minnie Ripperton.

The album won the 1975 Grammy for Album of the Year, Best Male Pop Vocal and Best Male R&B Vocal for "Boogie On Reggae Woman." Fullfillingness' First Finale was also the last of Stevie's albums with engineers and synth wizards Robert Margouleff and Malcom Cecil.

Featuring stellar mastering by iconic engineer Steve Hoffman, Audio Fidelity's 24K + Gold edition of this Wonder masterwork bests all prior editions. The audiophile label specializes in deluxe packaging with see-through slip cases and beautifully reproduced original graphics. As always, the original master tape was played back on a specially constructed vintage tube playback deck, with the analog masters put through the new "Kensei Audio Transformer," a process that adds even more life to the music.
