Slightly. The line-up is pared down to two guitar players and one electric bassist. But that does not mean the music is any less intense. Guitarists Jef Lee Johnson and Dave Fiucynski collide and harmonize simultaneously magically. Jackson plays the drum in much the same fashion Cecil Taylor plays the piano (well he drummed for Taylor after all). Worth repeated listenings to focus on each player's contributions.
