Eigsti is a native of northern California, whose late sister played with Doobie Brothers! He has worked with Dave Brubeck, Diane Schuur and James Moody. He leads a fine young trio playing mostly solid jazz classics Horace Silver's Tokyo Blues, Charles Mingus Goodbye Pork Pie Hat, Dave Brubeck's In Your Own Sweet Way, Charlie Parker's Cheryl and Antonio Carlos Jobim's Meditation and music by Ceder Walton, Billy Taylor and Denny Zeitlin. Two of the tunes are by the young leader!
