It became evident that this would be a stunning recording. I was not disappointed, Its a nice detailed recording with a good dynamic range and broad picture, the fine detail of the recording comes through really well. I did appreciate the stops, starts the fading of the played sound and the silence between notes and passages in the pieces of music. This is well practised and well played by the pianist Ciro Longobardi, who is thoughtful and pays attention to the detail of every note played. Ciro Longobardi has written the CD liner notes which I thought gives a good overview of each piece in the set. This is a lovely CD set, well produced, well recorded, well played and good liner notes, it is all faultless and the current asking price of circa £12, its a absolute bargain.
