A monographic CD devoted to Stefano Gervasoni, professor of composition at the National Superior Conservatory of Music and Dance in Paris, and one of today's most internationally acclaimed composers. In Gervasoni's music, the almost obsessive search for detail in sound is one of the keys to reading, or rather listening and interpretation, of the two compositions. The simplicity of the sonorous material, combined with a dense network of senses, hidden or obvious, creates a sort of ambiguity in his music which is the manifestation of that paradox dear to composers: the paradox of simplicity.
