Bernard Roberts' reputation as an interpreter of Beethoven and Bach continues with the Complete Partitas. The Partitas, or Clavierübung, were critically acclaimed by Bach's contemporaries for their compositional originality and technical diversity in the late Baroque. They are presented here by Bernard in the follow-up recording to his Forty-eight Preludes and Fugues, the latter gaining condiderable merit from both critics and listeners upon it's release.
