The 1985 debut of the Nashville Bluegrass Band. A rare ì combination of youth and experience, tradition and innovation, ì instrumental compatibility and a superb vocal blend, the band was ì destined to leave a major mark on the bluegrass world. One of ì the band's strong suits is gospel quartet harmony: hear the ì splendid versions of "Prodigal Son" and Sister Rosetta Tharpe's ì "Up Above My Head." Other tunes include Bill Monroe's "Doghouse ì Blues" and "Blue and Lonesome," and Jesse Winchester's "Brand New ì Tennessee Waltz."
