It is something so vulnerable and naked, with nothing to hold on to but your musical partner and that makes it so interesting to me. It´s like a good marriage, show respect and you get respect back without losing your own integrity. It's not like a you scratch my back and I scratch yours thing. Not at all. It is all about love and respect for your partner and, for the music. Music is our mistress and we cannot live without her and the gifts that she gives us everyday. Karl-Martin and Mathias are living proof of this fact. On this recording they show each other as well as the listener how beautiful it can be to work together and to make the music sing.
