Tal Farlow, the self-taught guitar legend, was known for his supreme dexterity and technique. In this drummerless trio session, Farlow's working trio at the time, note the masterly interaction between players which bears repeated listening and study. As the original liner notes to this release observed, "Farlow...is like a swinging waterfall with a rare resourcefulness of fresh conception." Four previously unissued bonus tracks have been added to the original-LP's selections. Cds Q (5/99, p. 127) - "...
